Janelle commenced at Mercy Education in 2021 as the Risk, Safety and Compliance Officer following a career over 15 years in the education sector as Business Manager. Janelle is a very experienced Business Manager in the Catholic system having spent six years at Catholic Ladies College, Eltham.  Prior to that, Janelle was the Business Manager for eight years at Parade College and spent one and a half years as Business Manager at Loyola College.

Prior to working in education, Janelle gained her wide-ranging experience across a variety of small business sectors.

Janelle is a Certified Practicing Accountant(CPA) and member of the Governance Institute of Australia (AGIA). She has a Bachelor of Business; Diploma of Taxation; Diploma in Information Systems and a Certificate of Education Law.  Janelle is also an honorary member of the Marist Schools’ Australia Finance and Audit Committee so is well versed in many aspects of school risk.

Janelle looks forward to applying her knowledge and experience to assist Mercy schools with meeting their compliance obligations.
