Effie commenced working for Mercy Education in September 2006 as Board secretary and in the Administration office of Mercy Education.
In 2009, Effie was privileged and honoured to be a participant in the Mercy Ethos Program in Dublin. As a participant, she became more acquainted with Catherine McAuley and Mercy and found this a deeply rewarding experience. Effie feels privileged to be a part of Mercy Education and to work with the Sisters of Mercy.
